Bernadette + Ian’s Classic Old Town Catholic Wedding

There is no better example of a classic, timeless, Catholic wedding than Bernadette and Ian’s May wedding day! Getting ready at the bride’s best friend’s home, you could hear the joy and excitement just buzzing in the air. The bridesmaids wore classic black dresses and surrounded their bride with love and prayers before heading off to their Nuptial Mass. Entering into the stunning Basilica of St Mary in Old Town, Virginia, guests were beaming ear to ear, in anticipation of the Sacrament which was about to begin. Bernadette and Ian had dated since high school, waiting years for this very moment as they became husband and wife.

After the completion of the Nuptial Mass, guests were on their way to Brentsville Hall, to celebrate the new Mr and Mrs! Their timeless style continued throughout the cocktail hour and reception space in the most simple yet elegant way. Toasts from their loved ones began and soon, there was not a dry eye in sight, as Bernadette’s dad gave a tear jerking speech, followed by the love of the best man and maid of honor. As the evening continued on, the dance floor filled, and Bernadette swapped into her show-stopping dancing dress which caught the light just perfectly. Finally, the newly weds wrapped up the night with a sparkler exit before driving off to being this new chapter of their lives!
